Jinnah's diary - making progress
Jinnah is beging to gain confidence, and then he gets knocked back, but i think he will get over this quickly enough to go forward again.
'bad' and good news re Jinnah. On Monday evening he actually 'hung out' with Daniel and Che and I in the sitting room while we watched TV.
He was under a table but relaxed with his head and front legs sticking
well out. Then on Tuesday morning he went out and he and another cat
had quite a fight - not blood but lots of fur (Jinnah's) on the back door step. We assume the fight was between Jinnah and Che but we are not sure. We have several squatters/illegal immigrants who seem to think they own our house. Jinnah spent the rest of that day back under his bed (although he did eat his breakfast) only coming out for food. I was very sad because we had made some good progress. Yesterday he was much better. He talked to me again. He played a lot with us and on his own and wondered about the upstairs freely.
But this morning he almost brought tears to my eyes. When I feed him he has got bolder, he usually comes to the bowl and once he starts to eat a little I give him a little stroke. This time he stopped eating and nudged his head back into my hand just like Che does. It was a real response.
