Jinnah's diary (week one)
(Che is Jinnah's new cat friend - he just dosn't know she's a friend yet)

As promised news of Jinnah - he is eating well. Venturing out the bedroom occasionally when we leave the door open for him to explore (windows shut, access to catflap blocked) but he retreats very quickly to sitting under the far side of the bed in the spare room. We open the door as much as we can in the hope that he will feel confident enough the socialize eventually but also so that he can get some exercise. We have put a litter tray in there, a tray with fresh water and his food, a climbing pedastal thing with scratchpost sides, a few hanging toys and a new cat bed. I have cover with single bed with waterproof sheets and old towels because he seems to want to wee on the bed although he is poohing in the litter tray. He is very interested in Che. They have not had any physical contact - but they have had several Mexican standoffs - with Jinnah staring at Che and Che swearing at Jinnah.
As to the names: he will be called Jinnah after Mohammad Ali Jinnah the founder of Pakistan.
